Day 1. On arrival in Durban you will be collected
by your guide for the week, who will transfer you to your accommodation
to relax. You may wish to enjoy the sun on Durban's Golden Mile,
watch the surfers and enjoy a swim on the Blue Flag beach.
Day 2. Golf at the world famous Durban Country
Club, voted one of the best courses in South Africa by Golf Digest,
with the fifth hole being rated as one of the best par 4 internationally.
This will be followed by dinner in the Country Club's five star
grillroom and a chance to sample some South African wine.
Day 3. A day of golf on the North Coast
of KwaZulu-Natal, at the Prince's Grant course, designed by Tom
Weizkopf. This is a wonderfully scenic 18 hole course that has been
designed to sit in between the Mvoti River and the Indian Ocean.
You will stay the night at the colonial style hotel and enjoy the
fine cuisine offered, including the seafood for which South Africa
is renowned.
Day 4. Transfer to the Umfolozi game park,
where you will spend two days and one night on a safari. The game
in this area is abundant and you are likely to see Lion, Elephant,
Buffalo, Giraffe, Hippo and Rhino, living in their natural habitat.
The accommodation will be in traditional African roundavals and
will include a kitchen, ensuite bathroom and outside barbecue area.
Day 5. A second day at the Game Park, the
experienced rangers will ensure that you have the chance to see
as much as possible and take some great photos. In the evening you
will be transferred to the Zimbali Country Club.
Day 6. Golf at the Zimbali Golf and Country
Club. This course offers a challenging game set amongst indigenous
coastal forest. In the evening we will have a traditional South
African Braai

Day 7. Transfer to Durban, the day can be spent at leisure.
Excursions can be arranged to visit Sea World and the Dolphinarium,
or to the Sharks Board where you can learn more about these fascinating
creatures. Those with a strong disposition can even see a shark
being dissected! ! To get even closer to Durban's plentiful marine
life, scuba diving and fishing can also be arranged.
Day 8. A day of golf at the Mount Edgecombe
Golf and Country club. There are two 18 hole courses at Mount Edgecombe,
both of which are challenging championship layouts which will test
Golfers of all abilities. In the evening a visit can be arranged
to the Sugar Mill Casino complex for a relaxing evening at the tables.
Day 9. A day at leisure in Durban. You may
wish to visit Gateway, the southern hemisphere's biggest shopping
centre, which includes a karting track and a wave machine for some
surfing practice! Pick up some designer labels for a fraction of
UK prices.
Day 10. A day of golf at the San Lameer
Golf and Country club, a beautiful course which runs along the dramatic
south coast. In the evening you will have the chance to sample some
of Durban's varied nightlife.
Day 11. A day in The Valley of a Thousand
Hills. See some breathtaking views of inland KwaZulu-Natal, traditional
Zulu dancing and the chance to buy some souvenirs at the craft market.
Afternoon tea will be at the renowned Rob Roy Hotel whilst enjoying
the peace and tranquillity of the valley.
Day 12. A free morning in Durban prior to
transferring to Durban International Airport in readiness for your
overnight flight to London via Johannesburg.
